Razom We Stand was founded in April 2022 by Ukrainian climate and peace activists aimed at isolating and constricting Russia’s fossil fuel industry to end the war in Ukraine and accelerate Europe’s transition towards renewable energy.
Position Details
Location: Remote (candidates must have full working rights in their country of residence), preferably Brussels
Remuneration: Depending on experience and capacity to take on responsibilities.
FTE Status: Full-time.
Start Date: Ideally, it should be as soon as possible.

About You
This role requires an energetic, detail-oriented, and dedicated individual with a passion for campaigning and driving impactful change. You should be a strategic thinker, a team player, and a creative problem solver with excellent communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in campaign development, coalition-building, and renewable energy advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
I. Campaign Strategy and Mobilization
- Lead the development and implementation of campaign strategies aligned with the organization’s mission.
- Perform power mapping, research, and analysis to identify impactful strategies.
- To support campaign objectives, mobilize resources, including funding, partnerships, and volunteer engagement.
- Coordinate with international partners to develop country-specific campaigning and mobilization plans.
- Drive and support initiatives to cut off revenues from fossil fuels and promote renewable energy transitions.
- Organize joint campaign moments, including sign-on letters, events, and narrative-building activities.
II. Communications and Collaboration
- Develop targeted written campaign content for social media, websites, and email.
- Represent Razom We Stand in international networks, alliances, and public events.
- Build bridges between Ukrainian and global partners, hosting regular calls and coordinating joint actions.
- Engage and collaborate with political and economic decision-makers to further campaign goals.
III. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Organizational Contribution
- Track campaign performance using key metrics and evaluate effectiveness.
- Adjust strategies as necessary based on performance data and stakeholder feedback.
- Contribute to the broader organizational strategy and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Support leadership in strengthening the organization’s brand through public speaking and advocacy.
Skills and Qualifications
Campaigning Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in campaigning or communications.
- Proven success in leading campaigns within coalitions or networks.
- Experience in community or workplace organizing is an advantage.
Expertise in Energy and Policy:
- Knowledge and/or experience in the energy sector, especially renewable energy.
- Familiarity with international policies and laws related to energy and fossil fuels.
- Proficiency in research and investigative techniques.
Strategic and Analytical Skills:
- Ability to conduct power analysis and develop detailed campaign strategies.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to adapt strategies based on outcomes.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Ukrainian and English.
- Experience in public speaking, media representation, and stakeholder negotiation.
- Proficiency in digital tools such as Canva, Google Suite, Slack, and Asana.
Project Management:
- Skilled in designing, implementing, and managing campaign projects.
- Budget management experience, ensuring efficient use of limited resources.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Scope of Decision-Making
- Selection of campaign strategies, messaging, and tactics to achieve objectives.
- Resource allocation, including budgeting, staffing, and materials.
- Development of partnerships and coalition-building activities.
- Planning and scheduling of campaign initiatives.
Practical Action Items
- Create comprehensive campaign plans with clear goals, strategies, and timelines.
- Organize outreach events, rallies, and advocacy initiatives to engage stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on campaign progress, adjusting tactics to optimize impact.
- Secure resources through partnerships and fundraising efforts.
- Build relationships with media, community organizations, and policymakers.
