Job Advertisement: EU Campaigner
Location: Remote (Belgium preferred). Candidates must have full working rights in the country from which they are applying to work.
Remuneration: Depending on experience (including unpaid and other occasions) and capacity to take on responsibility.
FTE Status: Full-time.

Razom We Stand was founded in April 2022 by Ukrainian climate and peace activists aiming to isolate and constrict Russia’s fossil fuel industry to end the war in Ukraine and accelerate Europe’s transition towards renewable energy. We are a fast-growing, dynamic organization committed to fostering impactful change through campaigns, advocacy, and collaboration with global partners.
About You
We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented, and strategic thinker who can manage multiple tasks under supportive managerial guidance. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong interpersonal communication abilities, and a proven track record of leading campaigns or advocacy initiatives. This individual must be a team player with an entrepreneurial spirit, a willingness to learn, and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
Key Responsibilities
I. Policy and Analysis (50%)
Analyze and synthesize EU policy documents, identifying key points, facts, and statistics to support advocacy and campaigns.
Monitor, gather intelligence, and report on EU policy developments related to RePower EU and the European Commission’s energy agenda (e.g., REMIT, SOS Regulation).
Coordinate Razom We Stand responses to public consultations, position papers, and presentations.
Organize and minute relevant internal and external meetings to ensure orderly preparation and follow-up.
II. Communications and Advocacy (50%)
Identify and organize meetings with key stakeholders, including the European Parliament, European Commission, and EU Member State representatives.
Build and maintain a network of contacts with partner organizations and strengthen relationships with allies (e.g., CAN Europe, Business4Ukraine).
Develop and implement advocacy strategies to support Razom We Stand’s policy objectives.
Create and edit written campaign content for social media, websites, and email campaigns.
Support communications efforts, including drafting short statements and preparing presentation materials for policy priorities.
Profile and Qualifications
Required:
Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., European Studies, Political Science, EU Law, Energy).
2-5 years of experience in a policy or advocacy position in a relevant sector (e.g., human rights, environment, energy).
Strong understanding of EU policies, processes, and energy transitions.
Proven analytical skills with the ability to explain complex policy topics concisely to diverse audiences.
Experience developing advocacy materials and coordinating networks or coalitions.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Desired:
Campaigning experience, including strategy development and execution.
Experience leading coalitions or networks.
Knowledge of renewable energy, energy policies, and international energy law.
Proficiency with tools such as Canva, Google Suite, Slack, and Asana.
