
Javier Casas is a policy specialist in energy transition, critical minerals, and natural resource governance. His work focuses on the geopolitical, governance, and sustainability dimensions of mineral supply chains, which are critical to the global shift toward clean energy systems.
He has worked with governments, international organisations, and research institutions on policy initiatives related to extractive sector governance, transparency, and responsible resource management. His experience includes advising and contributing to projects addressing the governance of critical minerals, sustainable mining practices, and the institutional challenges associated with the rapidly growing demand for energy transition materials.
At Razom We Stand, Javier contributes to policy analysis and campaigns focused on critical raw materials, EU–Ukraine cooperation, and the role of democratic governance, transparency, and environmental standards in building secure and responsible mineral supply chains for Europe’s energy transition.
