We are thrilled to announce that Razom We Stand is now a proud member of the Initiative for Responsible Mining Assurance (IRMA), a leading response to the global demand for more socially and environmentally responsible mining.
At a time when demand for energy transition minerals is accelerating, ensuring that mining is governed by strong standards of transparency, accountability, environmental protection, and respect for community rights is critical. IRMA provides one of the most robust multi-stakeholder frameworks for advancing these objectives.
This is a significant step forward for our Energy Transition Minerals (ETM) project, through which we are developing a dedicated workstream in collaboration with partners to analyse how energy systems, extractive industries, and political power intersect.
Through this membership, we look forward to engaging with civil society, industry, and other stakeholders to strengthen responsible sourcing practices and contribute to more transparent and accountable mineral supply chains, particularly in the context of Ukraine’s green reconstruction.
We are excited to contribute to IRMA’s work and to collaborate with partners across the initiative.
